Aria Pro II
Aria Pro II was a Japanese guitar brand. Aria Pro II guitars where manufactured by the Japanese company Arai and Company, founded in 1953 Shiro Arai. Arai and Company contracted musical instrument manufacturing Matsumoku to actually build the guitars. Arai and Company along with Matsumoku started building acoustic guitars in 1964, and then electrics in 1966, using Arai, Aria, Aria Diamond, and Diamond brand names. Table steel guitar
The table steel guitar is a type of electric steel guitar intermediate between the lap steel guitar and the pedal steel guitar. Table steel guitars typically have multiple necks and/or more than six strings per neck, and are too large to be easily played in lap steel fashion. The Waikikis
The Waikikis were a Belgian studio band, mostly known for their single "Hawaii Tattoo", released in the U.S. in 1964, on Kapp Records. "Hawaii Tattoo" was recorded in 1962 in Belgium and spent two months in the Belgian chart. It was a huge hit in Germany, spending 37 weeks in the Top Ten and also reached the Top Fifty in the U.S., Canada and the UK. Seven-string guitar
A seven-string guitar is a guitar with seven strings instead of the usual six. Daxophone
The daxophone, invented by Hans Reichel, is a custom made musical instrument of the friction idiophone category. It consists of a thin wooden blade fixed in a wooden block , which holds one or more contact microphones. Normally, it is played by bowing the free end, but it can also be struck or plucked, which propagates sound in the same way a ruler halfway off a table does. Guitar synthesizer
A guitar/synthesizer is any one of a number of systems originally conceived to allow a guitar player to play synthesizers. ''MIDI guitar'' is often used as a synonym for the field of guitar/synthesis or for a guitar/synthesizer, but MIDI is not involved in every case. Mike Hachey
Michael Joseph "Mike" Hachey is a member of the third-wave ska band, Suburban Legends. He joined the band in November 2004, replacing Chris Maurer on bass guitar, after his friend Derek Lee Rock offered him an audition to play bass for his 'little ol' band' called Suburban Legends. In addition to playing bass, Mike also sings back up vocals for many songs. Mike attended Cal State Fullerton and was accepted into their Department of Music as a Music Education major. More »
